I’m a student at Columbia Journalism School in New York City pursuing a Master of Science in Journalism. Previously, I worked as a photojournalist and reporter based in Cambridge, MA after graduating from Dartmouth College with degrees in Linguistics and International Studies.

As an undergraduate, I took photographs for The Dartmouth newspaper and The Aegis yearbook. After two years on staff and on the directorate board, I served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Aegis. I also worked as a Photojournalist Intern for Dartmouth’s Office of Communications. I received the Thomas W. Gerber ’43 Award for photojournalism from The Dartmouth and collaborated with professional photographers and writers through my internships. (Learn more about my photojournalism internship.)

During my time in New Hampshire, I freelanced for The Valley News, and in Cambridge, I worked for The Cambridge Day as a reporter and photojournalist covering a variety of beats around the city, including city council affairs, the local economy, business, transportation, and music.

In December of 2023, I traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina for the 15th PanAmerican Maccabi Games as a member of the Maccabi Media Team for the USA delegation. In July 2024, I was invited back to the Maccabi USA team as the photographer for the European Maccabi Youth Games in London.

In 2024, I worked in Guatemala as a Dartmouth Postgraduate Fellow with Women’s Justice Initiative, a non-profit working with Maya-Kaqchikel communities to prevent child marriage and gender-based violence, improve access to justice in rural Guatemala, and provide women and girls with the tools to become leaders. As a member of the Communication & Development team, I immersed myself in non-profit engagement and built my journalism portfolio.
